Hi, I'm Vishnu — a Senior Software Engineer at Cepheid, a Danaher Company. I specialize in architecting scalable, end-to-end applications and driving technical strategy across full-stack, cloud, and AI domains.
Whether it's building responsive Next.js interfaces or engineering resilient distributed systems and ML pipelines, I believe in clean architecture and collaborative problem-solving. I thrive on translating complex requirements into high-impact software.
A cross-section of what I build — from autonomous robots to full-stack platforms and data pipelines.
A personal prototype built in my spare time: a group chat with an AI agent that helps my friends and me plan trips together, keeping links, dates, costs and the itinerary in one place.

Algorithmic trading platform built on the Alpaca API for real-time market data and automated trade execution, powered by a custom machine learning model for predictive decision-making. The model continuously learns from weekly market data, retrains through backtesting, and self-optimizes to improve performance for subsequent trading cycles.

Course paper on detecting myocardial infarction with a deep learning model that works on echocardiogram video from the EchoNet-Dynamic dataset, rather than on ECG signals.

Research project at UT Arlington, written up in a research paper: a sensor reads head movements and gestures so that people with tetraplegia or paraplegia can control a robot hands-free.

A cooking companion whose cook mode walks you through a recipe one step at a time, reads each step aloud and runs the step timers itself. Every recipe keeps a full version history, so family recipes are preserved. One Flutter codebase for web and mobile on a self-hosted Supabase backend.
